Jacaralito

Southern Oaxaca is renowned for the Pluma Hidalgo variety (an offshoot of Typica) and while this isn't a strict separation of that variety, this cup is rich with the syrupy, dark sweetness that I've come to associate with Pluma Hidalgo coffees. Like a date syrup with some peachiness and a startling clarity to the cup.

Imported by Red Fox Coffee Merchants. Typica and Bourbon varieties. 1,600 -1,700 masl. Harvested in 2023.
