Marilu Lopez Padilla
We bought this coffee via Red Fox Coffee, who have been instrumental in making the best coffees in Peru available to us. Padilla's farm is within the protected Alto Mayo forest in Northern Peru where she cultivates roughly a hectare of coffee and does the majority of the processing on her farm.
Her careful preparation is clear in the cup, which is elegant and sweet. We taste Medjool dates, milk chocolate, melons and raspberry.
Harvested mid-2018. 1,750 MASL. Caturra, Typica, & Bourbon. Washed.
