Basha Bekele Kokose

Basha Bekele is a renowned farmer, producer and exporter in the Sidama region. He took first place in the 2024 Cup of Excellence and now has six main coffee processing stations. This lot comes from his station in Kokose, an area within the Bensa district of Sidama. Despite being dry-processed (also known as natural process), this coffee is light and vibrant on the tongue. There's sweetness for sure, but it's not overpowering and the cup itself is delightfully balanced with lots of complexity. Passionfruit and blueberry are some of the more salient notes. 

Harvested Late 2024 - Early 2025. Heirloom Varieties (74158, 74110, 74112, and local landrace called sidamo). 1,800 - 2,200 masl. Washed.
