El Limoncillo Javanica

The Java variety comes from Ethiopia and came into Central America by way of Cameroon. Fincas Mierisch, the farm group that owns El Limoncillo, has named their Java variety "Javanica" -- nica being a nod to Nicaragua.

There's a richness in the cup which makes me think of cacao nibs. There's also a distinct and ever so gentle lemony quality to the finish.
